A monthly book club where members read a selected book and come together to discuss themes, ideas, and perspectives. Each meeting also includes a fun, engaging activity connected to the book to deepen understanding and build community.
Students in Robotics use the components of Lego SPIKE kits to build their very own robots and learn how to program their robots using block-based coding. Problem solving, critical thinking skills, inclusion, collaboration, and appropriate time management are some of our club’s core values that are emphasized as students work in small groups to master the given challenges. This club is for 6 weeks and is limited in number.
A leadership council made up of student leaders from both 5th and 6th grade classes. Students use leadership skills to address issues or concerns throughout the school and student body. They organize student events and activities within the school setting and conduct community service projects.
Yearbook Club members are responsible for taking pictures during team activities to help tell their team's story in the yearbook. Students must apply and be selected for this club.
Mary Lillard Intermediate
