5th Grade STAAR/6th Grade Benchmark Testing - Closed Campus Lunches

All 5th grade students will take the Math and Reading STAAR on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 and 10. All 6th grade students will take the Reading Benchmark on Thursday, April 11.

Some things to know for these days of testing:

  • It is extremely important that the students get plenty of rest the night before, and that they eat a good breakfast in the morning.
  • Students need to be on time and in their seat by 8:30 am
  • 5th Grade students who are absent will automatically have to retest in May. There are no make-up tests given in April if they miss one or both testing days.
  • The campus is closed to visitors on these 3 days of testing, and this includes during lunch.
  • If you would like to bring your child lunch on either of these days, you can drop it off in the front office, however, no visitors will be allowed to eat lunch in the cafeteria on these 3 days.
  • Lunch for the students testing will be later than normal.

Our students are awesome, and they will do a GREAT job!!!
